In addition, the design was optimised so that optibelt OMEGA HL is much more suitable for drives with shock loading.

When used for new drive designs in these types of application, optibelt OMEGA HL achieves the highest possible functional reliability in combination with an optimum efficiency.

The requirements placed upon fan drives in the oil industry are high. The timing belt tooth geometry combined with the belt structure leads to even load distribution and optimized engagement of the toothed pulleys.

The optibelt HTD- timing belts have curvilinear, particularly shear-resistant teeth.

The tooth geometry in conjunction with the belt construction produces uniform oad distribution and optimal meshing of the belt teeth in the timing belt pulleys.

HTD® timing belts are also available in a double section version.

The merits of the optibelt HTD- and HTD double timing belts make them suitable for heavy duty drive systems, in particular low speed systems with high starting torque.

ZR

The most salient features of the Optibelt ZR timing belts are the high quality neoprene compounds, the extremely flexible tension cords made of glass fibre and the abrasion-resistant protective fabric.

A certain level of oil, heat and cold resistance are standard features of ZR timing belts.
